Welcome to HACEM

The Ham And Computer Experimenters of Montevideo is an organization of technically minded experimenters dedicated to building, learning, and helping our fellow hobbyists.  While HACEM is mainly geared toward Amateur Radio, computer experimenters are also welcome.

Membership is open to anyone interested in technology.  (You do not need to live in Montevideo!)  In keeping with the Open Source tradition, virtually everything sponsored by HACEM is freely available.  There are no dues, no high pressured tactics to join any other organization, no begging for donations.  Your only obligation is to share your technical specialties and talents with other members of HACEM.  It is in this manner that your "dues" are paid to the organization.

If you are interested in hi-tech communications, computer technology, or are just curious about Amateur Radio, I urge you to become a member of HACEM and share your enthusiasm with the group.
